As I was out and about, getting to know Phoenix, I found a store named Total Wine.  This is really from the store - I am curious how the wine tastes.

What do you think?  Have you ever heard of this wine?  It's a Cabernet Sauvignon.

New stamps and Avonlea paper

These are cards from a team swap using the Avonlea papers.  There is a lot of variety in our styles, even though we used the same colors.  Thank you to all who participated in the swap.

Artwork with August Stamp of the Month

It's hard to believe that it's almost Labor Day, the last few months have just flown by for me - have they for you, too?

The new Close to My Heart Idea Book is now available - and I have artwork to share.  These are cards made using the current Stamp of the Month set.  These images are great for backgrounds or creating a pattern on plain paper in monocromatic colors or contrasting colors.  Some of these cards are from a swap, so you can see the different ideas from members of the group.

Back from Convention in Dallas

The Close to My Heart Convention is over for another year, leaving us with LOTS of awesome inspiration for new products and colors.
Are you wanting to craft, but low on ideas?   Our Workshops on the Go are fabulous, containing paper, accessories, and an instruction booklet with scrapbook layouts and other ideas.  This will get you started - yippee!

Welcome, July!

Wow!  It's July 1st - are you celebrating our nation's birthday by taking a vacation this week?  Take some pictures of your family, both posed and candids, to capture some great memories.
Another tip - keep a journal or notebook for jotting down quotes and activities.  It's great to have this resource when scrapbooking the pictures - or for revenge when you want to remember that foot-in-mouth comment.
